Gulag, 1940. It may be that this place is the most horrible place in the world. There is no prison like this with brutal system. No one who wants to end here and also impossible to get away from this hell. But it seems that this fact does not make a small group of prisoners with great determination to be daunted.
Janusz (Jim Sturgess), Valka (Colin Farrell), Smith (Ed Harris), Khabarov (Mark Strong), Zoran (Dragos Bucur), and Voss (Gustaf Skarsgård) is six people with the steel determination.
